Meet the northern stargazer—the fish with the most romantic name and the most terrifying face. The stargazer has its eyes, nostrils, and mouth all on the top of its head, so it can bury itself completely in the sand and hunt. Hidden like this, when prey swims by, the stargazer can pop up and grab it quickly. Nightmares.
