Your level has less to do with speed and more to do with your comfort and familiarity doing interval training in the pool, as well as your endurance. All of our workouts are designed to fit individuals of varying speed and can be adjusted accordingly.

Can you swim 4 lengths of a 25 yard pool without stopping, but not much further than that? Does the phrase six 50s on the 1:00 mean nothing to you? Are you super, duper out of shape and just need to start from scratch? Check out Beginner workouts.

Beginner workouts are always less than 2,000 yards and focus on growing comfortable with interval training and improving basic endurance. Visit 10 Workouts to Get Started if you aren't sure where to begin.

...and when you are ready to start doing workouts on a base, the workout to determine your base can be found here.

Can you swim a 500 (20 lengths of a 25 yard pool) without stopping? Have you maybe swum on a masters team before but aren’t completely comfortable making up your own workouts? Does the thought of doing a 2,000 yard workout not seem completely insane? Intermediate workouts are probably what you are looking for.

Intermediate workouts go up to 4,000 yards in distance and include additional strokes, challenging intervals, mild technique work (drills), and longer distances. Visit 10 Workouts for Intermediate Swimmers if you aren't sure where to start.
